Wife by Harvest
Ten years after her father was fired from Valenti Hill as a thief, Tessa Yuen walks back up the cypress drive. Giulia Valenti, the matriarch of the vineyard, has six days to see her grandson Leo married, or the hill is sold to Archer Hospitality, the firm run by Leo's ex, Simone. Leo says the foreman's daughter is the last woman he would marry. Tessa says yes at a price: the key to the cellar her father was thrown out of. A one-year contract, a harvest dinner where Simone pours red wine down her white dress, and one signature by candlelight later, Simone appears at the top of the cellar steps holding the book Tessa came for.
