My Roommate Is an Unemployed God
Nao is a exhausted twenty-two-year-old corporate accountant whose only goal after a long shift is peace and quiet in his cheap Tokyo studio. Everything changes when Kotodama, an ancient deity whose shrine was demolished for a convenience store, manifests on his tatami mat. Declaring Nao his sole remaining believer, Kotodama demands lavish worship in the form of cheap pork-bone ramen and draft beer. To keep his sanity, Nao must navigate daily life alongside a roommate who takes credit for mundane coincidences, summons minor spirit mishaps, and refuses to get a job, proving that living with a god is far more exhausting than overtime.
