The Last Recess Legion
Oak Creek Elementary is expanding its parking lot, directly threatening 'The Wilds'—the final untamed grove at the edge of the playground. Refusing to surrender their legendary kingdom, ten-year-old Sam declares himself Legion Captain and calls upon his classmates to take up arms. Decked out in cardboard plate mail, plastic bucket helmets, and foil-wrapped shields, the kids wage a covert campaign of imaginative warfare to stall the construction crew. But as bulldozers roll closer, the line between child's play and genuine magic blurs, proving that the heart of a true knight can turn trash into triumph and save the sanctuary they call home.
